My first animation! :iconluffylaplz: its so clumsey D: there are alooooot of things im not content with that I just didnt know how to do different. I really really got in my own way with lack of skills here grr I wanted it to become epic instead it rolled out like this meh..

My intention was to add a sound effect for the fire and the rain but due to my lack of skill the music just was such a bad quality and getting the song correct allready costed me several hours so i decided to not add to much to safe myself from disaster x]

drawn frame by frame in sai, but the rain. Rain and droplets in photoshop (where i learned how to make my own brush lol)

The burning of the paper was really killing me I thought the shading on the rolling balls was hard (which I did before i started on "burning" the picture) untill i came to the part of burning the paper.... At that time I had allready spend several weeks on the animation including what feels like a billion tutorials (which half of i didnt understand at all im such a noobie :( ) Drawing that bit frame by frame litterly on its own allready took me about 15 hours o.o toooo much detail...

and then the to much detail came biting me in the bum because ofcourse with my newbie skills the swf file was WAY to big... I was half way done with resizing the images 1 by 1 in gimp (What was i thinking-.-) untill i figured maybe (...) there was a program that could resize your images in bulk and hura there was. so my file that didnt want to upload to da because it was 100mb went down to a pretty 10mb. I'm such an idiot haha=D

=Edit= Due to copyright issues I had to change the song:( However, I am very happy with the replacement song even though it is a bit longer so I had to make some adjustments and a wee bit more loops.

Music: Sweet Supremacy (original composition) - Hybrid Orchestral © by Hannes Johansson. He kindly let me use it for this animation which I am forever greatfull for=D

you can find him on youtube:

thanks! gosh it's such a while ago I did this (looking back i could now do this in maybe half an hour instead of the weeks it took me back then haha) I drew it frame by frame in photoshop and painttool sai just working with low opacity as I didnt had a photoshop with timeline back then T_T then I put it all together in flash=]

I really love the drops of water coming off his hat, and the way his finger glows slightly before it catches fire. If this was your first animation, you did a really great job. :) My only critique is that we spend so long looking at Ace in the rain that the part where the paper burns up goes by REALLY fast in comparison. I missed the beginning part of it both times I watched this, because I briefly clicked away to look at other things, and when I came back the picture had suddenly changed.
